San Bernardino Generation Now |
SBGN is a community-run network that leverages the arts to educate the public on local sociopolitical issues, create civic engagement opportunities, and embrace the diverse composition of San Bernardino’s community through events centered on cultural exchange. By fostering a positive environment and encouraging residents to take active roles in enacting positive change, SBGN heals, revitalizes, and strengthens the community of San Bernardino.

CCAEJ works on social justice change in the Inland Empire through the lens of environmental health and justice. The primary focus is to build power within low income communities of color.
rainbow pride youth alliance |
Rainbow Pride Youth Alliance is an LGBTQ+ mental health non-profit based out of San Bernardino. The organization's mission is to promote, advocate, and offer support for/to LGBTQ+ youth and their families. In 2018 RPYA launched the IE Intersectional Youth Leadership of Conference. FIERCE is RPYA’s after-school performance workshop for youth ranging from age 12 to 22 years old. Theater is used as a tool for enhancing self-esteem, developing language and communication skills, strengthening cultural identity, increasing academic and vocational skill sets, and promoting literacy.

Young Visionaries Youth Leadership Academy is an award winning nonprofit organization proudly serving the youth of San Bernardino County since 2001. The organization’s purpose is to help enrich the lives of young people through life building activities and instruction in the areas of education, employment, health, mentoring, and community service.
California Youth Crisis Line |
1-800-843-5200. The California Youth Crisis Line (CYCL) operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week as the statewide emergency response system for youth (ages 12-24) and families in crisis.
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act |
Eligible youth, ages 16 to 24, can access a variety of career and educational services through WIOA funded programs. These services are designed to help enhance job skills, develop leadership qualities, explore career options, participate in adult and peer mentoring opportunities, and take advantage of work experiences.
Our House Youth Services |
The only licensed youth shelter in San Bernardino County. The main concern of this organization is for the immediate well-being of youth.
Inland Coalition for Immigrant Justice |
The Inland Coalition for Immigrant Justice, is composed of 35 organizations that serve the immigrant community in the Inland Empire.

California Youth Empowerment Summit |
YES teaches formerly foster, runaway, and homeless transition-age youth on how to become change leaders in their communities and youth leaders on youth issues. Through the various workshops and meetings with California representatives at the State Capitol, YES participants will get firsthand experience in creating positive change in their communities and advocate for youth at the legislative level.

Children's defense fund freedom schools |
The CDF Freedom Schools program is a six-week summer literacy and cultural enrichment program designed to serve children and youth in grades K–12 in communities where quality academic enrichment programming is limited, too expensive, or non-existent. By partnering with schools, faith and community-based organizations, municipalities, colleges and universities, and juvenile detention facilities, we are able to offer this program in these communities at no-cost.

The mission of the EOP program is to provide access to higher education for historically low-income, first generation disadvantaged students who have the potential to succeed at the university level. EOP recruits, retains and graduates students by providing a comprehensive program of support services which include admission, academic advisement, career and personal counseling, tutoring, financial assistance and graduate school information.

The mission of Time for Change Foundation is to empower disenfranchised low income individuals and families by building leadership through evidence-based programs and housing to create self-sufficiency and thriving communities.

The Reentry Task Force drafts policy recommendations to address the issue of parolee re-entry, and corresponding complex health and community issues.
Youth Action Project |
The Youth Action Project is a non-profit organization that works to empower San Bernardino’s youth to develop the skills and habits needed to experience economic and social success.
Chicano Indigenous Community for Culturally Conscious Advocacy and Action is a grassroots organization committed to Indigenous identity & resistance.
Youth Leadership Conference |
Presented by the San Bernardino City Unified School District. The mission of the IE Intersectional Youth Leadership Conference is to improve the lives of Inland Empire youth by creating spaces that address the intersections of race, class, diverse gender & sexual identities that impact the health, environment and lives of youth in the Inland Empire.
Rotary Youth Leadership Training Program |
Rotary Life is a challenging, leadership opportunity combining scholarship, savings, and vocational information activities. Fourteen eighth grade students are selected annually from all public and private schools in San Bernardino after a series of written and oral competitions to become Rotary Life scholars.

Adult allies acts as mentors and sounding boards for youth. Proprietary training tools guides young people in how to be articulate presenters, capable listeners, compelling storytellers, dogged organizers, savvy politicians and inspiring community advocates.
